    THIS is brilliant!
I am SURE someone on the board will continue with the knee jerk “NO;” however, this idea is brilliant for so many reasons. Reasons that anyone who made two hour parking at municipal will NEVER EVER understand!

I’ve been talking about this for years!! I’ve fantasized that it would actually be a street car (as it once was) but light rail is out of reach for now. The only tough part is gettin tourist to leave the SUVs behind. Incentives, incentives, incentives! Free bus rides, discounts at local stores, something. Hell put second toll booth behind the state booths and start charging by the car to cover wear and tear on roads, air pollution impacts and carbon emissions (kiddin but not).
