Abandoned? There was a game going on when I passed by yesterday.

There are two courts there — the one with the hoops is still used (by me on occasion, among others) but there is another court next to it that has no hoops and is sometimes used a skating rink in the winter, but is sitting unused three seasons out of four.

Love this one! That space has so much potential, and yet it is sadly neglected.

I think they made it into a pickle ball court.

Just a heads up…We have a skatepark at the youth program that is used by secondary ed kids and college folk. Half pipe, quarters, rails, jumpers, etc. If you want to spend any cash we’d love the help to update, maintain and expand what we’ve got.

What about an indoor skatepark in the abandoned building on the corner of South Putt Corners and 299? Four seasons of skateboarding, walking access from the High School and Middle School. Close proximity to 87 would increase village visitors and local economy.
